In 2020, the United States spent roughly 3.8 trillion dollars on healthcare. That's a very large number. Here's another way to think about it: imagine you make $5 a day and every day the healthcare collector comes for $1. That's what healthcare is to the US economy, almost 20% of GDP. And another way to think about it: the average family of four now spends as much on healthcare every month as they do on their mortgage or their rent. We must remedy this situation now. Working together, we can create affordable and sustainable healthcare ecosystems built on a foundation of high performing primary care practices.
